<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent hazard to a patient by breakage or the like of a chip of an ultrasonic vibration treatment apparatus for dental use by discarding the chip or taking other measures when the resonant frequency of the chip increases and exceeds a predetermined value. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic vibration treatment apparatus for dental use is composed of an ultrasonic oscillator 10 and the chip 30 which is detachably suitable for the ultrasonic oscillator 10. It provides dental treatment by vibrating the chip 30 at an ultrasonic frequency. A driving (oscillating) circuit 40 detects the resonant frequency and resonates the oscillator 10 at the resonant frequency.
