<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transient noise detection circuit which is not influenced by a parasitic load in a system, such as a parasitic capacitor of a built-in connector. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The transient noise detection circuit 2 includes a trigger circuit 22, a rectifier circuit 24 and a control device 26. When the trigger circuit receives a transient noise, the trigger circuit generates a trigger signal. The rectifier circuit includes a rectifier unit 242 and a current control unit 244 which are connected in series. When the rectifier unit receives the trigger signal from the trigger circuit, the rectifier unit is started by the trigger signal. The control device is connected to a detection node D between the rectifier unit and the current control unit.
