PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a coffee composition, capable of being performed simply, and effectively reducing added flavor. SOLUTION: The method for producing the coffee composition includes reducing the pressure inside a container filled with a porous material to -0.1 to -0.01 MPa gauge pressure, immersing the porous material in the container in an aqueous solvent under the reduced pressure and then bringing the coffee extract liquid in contact with the porous material to obtain the coffee composition.
