PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll-type fluid machine having excellent traceability, whose manufacturing history information on parts can be tracked in detail. SOLUTION: There is provided a scroll-type fluid machine in which manufacturing history information on at least formed and manufactured materials of a scrolled body 1 is recorded on a recording surface 3 formed on a surface of the scrolled body via a recording space. A period when the manufacturing history information is recorded on the recording surface may be any one of or both of a period after the formed and manufactured material of the scrolled body 1 has been manufactured by casting and forging or a period after a process such as cutting or the like has been applied to the formed and manufactured material.
