PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule medical device capable of easily miniaturizing a device scale. SOLUTION: The capsule medical device 1 includes a capsule casing 2 that contains an illumination board 3b, an imaging board 5b, a communication board 6c, and a control board 7c on which functional components are mounted, and a sheet-like battery 8 that supplies power to the functional components. The sheet-like battery 8 is rolled up to be a pole shape and located between cutout parts 10a-10c of the imaging board 5b, the communication board 6c, and the control board 7c and the inner wall of the capsule casing 2.
