PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for measuring a temperature in a steel plate which inhibits an effect on a temperature measurement due to at least anyone of a panel vibration, a panel torsion and a panel meander, eliminates necessities of a movable apparatus and a tracking means, and contactlessly measures the temperature in the steel plate. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: first and second reference plates 2, 4 installed and oriented in one and the other directions of the steel plate 1; first and second radiation thermometers 3, 5 for measuring radiation energy repetitively reflected among the steel plate 1 and the first and second reference plates 2, 4, converting a black body temperature, and installed and orientated to measurement points in one and the other directions of the steel plate 1 so as to output an indication value; and a calculation circuit 10 for obtaining the temperature in the steel plate 1 from a corrected temperature obtained by correcting the indication value based on predetermined information and a predetermined correction coefficient.
