PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the collision probability of packet signals even when a communication amount increases. SOLUTION: A definition is made so as to repeat a frame containing at least a plurality of slots, and a detection unit 32 detects a slot usable for communication among a plurality of other radio apparatuses from the plurality of slots. A modulation/demodulation unit 24 and an RF unit 22 report information relating to the detected slot. Here, in the detection unit 32, a power measurement unit 38 measures reception power for each of the plurality of slots, and a free slot specifying unit 42 specifies the slot whose reception power is smaller than the threshold.
