<p>The invention relates to data media, more specifically to a carrier in the form of a card which can be used as a personal business-card, which contains data about a given person, and as an advertising vehicle or a means for promoting goods or services. The inventive card comprises at least one optical carrier for storing information which is read by means of a laser beam and a second information carrier for storing visual readout information, the first and second carriers being interconnected. In preferred variant, the interconnection is nondetachable. The second carrier can be made of cardboard, paper, plastic material, optically transparent materials from a group of polycarbonate, polymethylmethacrylate, or lavsan, or other optically transparent materials, said carrier can contain graphical information on one or two sides and can store digital information which is readable on the side of the optical carrier location by means of a laser beam. The optical and second carriers can be interconnected so as to be moved in relation to each other (in particular, in terms of angular displacement). The inventive card is characterised by a sufficiently important volume of stored information, is relatively simple and inexpensive in production and can be read in standard drives of modern readout devices.</p> |
