METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR BREAKING HYBRID ELECTRICAL VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for controlling brake of hybrid vehicle is provided to improve comfort in riding by practicing regenerative braking through fixed real regenerative brake energy and real braking-torque after resetting real regenerative brake energy and real braking-torque. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling brake of hybrid vehicle comprises a brake pedal(41) and a brake control unit. A target of regeneration retarding torque is set according to revolution number per minute and temperature of cooling water of engine when power-off down-shift is requested. The brake control unit resets actual regeneration brake torque and real braking-torque and practices the regenerative braking.
