ELEVATOR CAR BUOYANT SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A buoyant device for an elevator car is provided to elevate the elevator car on the water surface due to water flowing into an elevating path according to flood without separate lifting unit or electric power supply. CONSTITUTION: A space part(10) is formed between a bottom and a horizontal frame(114) of an elevator car(110). A space part floats the elevator car on the water by the water flowing into a lifting path according to flood. A buoyant member(20) is formed on the space part and the constant pressure is kept. A pressure maintenance unit(30) is connected to the buoyant member and supplies air to maintain constant pressure. The buoyant member is a buoyant tank with a pressure switch.
