PURPOSE: An over torque prevention device of a spare tire for a vehicle is provided to remove concentration stress generated in a plate type spring. CONSTITUTION: An over torque prevention device of a spare tire for a vehicle comprises a drum, a driving gear, a shaft, and an over torque prevention unit. The drum is connected with a wire so that a spare tire is loaded on a vehicle with uniform pressure. The wire is wound around the drum, or released. The driving gear is connected to the drum, and transfers torque. The shaft supplies the torque to the driving gear. The over torque prevention unit comprises a cap(120) and a plate type spring(110). One side of the cam is connected to the driving gear. The plate type spring is elastically connected to the shaft, and receives the torque.
