<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sand pumping apparatus which can smoothly pump up sand by preventing the clogging of a suction port. <P>SOLUTION: The sand pumping apparatus 1 which sucks sand from the suction port 1b on one end side of a suction pipe 1a by supplying fluid into the suction pipe 1a is configured so as to cover the one end side where the suction port 1b of the suction pipe 1a is located with a sand-barrier wall 1d. According to the configuration, sand is stored only in the portion of an angle of repose α, that is, the suction port 1b is not buried in sand, within the sand-barrier wall 1d, therefore, the fluidity of sand for the suction port 1b can be secured and the clogging of the suction port 1b can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
