<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce influence of outside air having come into a duct on uniform dispersion of a highly absorbing polymer. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus for producing an absorbent includes a die 21 formed in a concave shape in the predetermined surface 20a of a predetermined member 20, the duct 31 disposed at a predetermined position of a moving route, and a polymer supply member 38 at the central region Ac of an opening 31a. In the apparatus, when the die 21 passes through the duct 31, a gas 3 is drawn through suction holes formed in the bottom of the die, whereby liquid-absorbing fibers 2 and the highly absorbing polymer which are contained in the gas 3 are stacked in the die 21 to mold an absorbent 1. The pressure within the duct 31 is reduced owing to drawing of the gas 3 from the bottom of the molding die 21, whereby outside air which has come into the duct 31 through the gap G between the surface 20a and the opening 31a. An inner-wall part 41 is disposed so as to face the inner surface 33a of a wall part 33 and to leave a space S3 therebetween, and the outside air which has come into the duct is controlled by the duct inner-wall part 41 so as not to flow into a central area Ac of the duct. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
