摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flushing control method for an inkjet printer for carrying out flushing performed after head cleaning, in a suitable form. SOLUTION: The inkjet printer 1 performs a nozzle check at predetermined timing (S1), performs head cleaning when a defective nozzle is detected (S4), performs a nozzle check (S1) again after flushing is performed (S5) to confirm whether the defective nozzle is recovered. In the flushing (S5), ink drops in the quantity predetermined by all the nozzles included in nozzle rows of odd numbers are ejected at once (S5-1), and ink drops in the quantity predetermined by all the nozzles included in nozzle rows of even numbers is ejected at once (S5-2).
