<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio device resistant to interference from another system having an adjacent operating frequency band. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The radio device applies a first modulation system (for example, 16QAM) to subcarriers other than a predetermined number of subcarriers at both ends of a channel band, and transmits and/or receives a signal modulated in an OFDM modulation system applying a second modulation system (for example, QPSK) having noise resistance higher than that of the first modulation system to the predetermined number of subcarriers at both ends of the channel band.
