<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage of a conductor of electric wire in an insulation barrel part. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A part covered with an insulating coating 12 in the electric wire 10 in a form of surrounding the conductor 11 with the insulating coating 12 is crimped to the insulation barrel part 27 of a terminal fitting 20. Curved surfaces 33 in a curved form so as to be separated from the outer peripheral surface of the insulating coating 12 toward the outer part of the insulation barrel part 27 are formed at both front and rear edge parts of the inner peripheral surface of the insulation barrel part 27.
