<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car-mounted electronic appliance enabling a user to intantaneously determine a movable direction of a knob operable to move in four directions and rotate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A panel 2 includes LEDs 8a, 8b, 8c, and 8d that serve as lighting devices inserted in the periphery of a position where the knob 3 is attached so as to indicate the four directions of the knob 3. By inserting the LEDs 8a, 8b, 8c, and 8d in the panel 2, the four directions of the knob can be correctly indicated regardless of the rotation of the knob 3, and therefore the user can easily determine the movable direction of the knob 3.
