The transmission has a hollow wheel of a planetary gear set (P3) connected with a shaft (5). The shaft is detachably connected with another shaft (6) by a clutch (56) i.e. clutch switching element. A connection component connects a hollow wheel of another planetary gear set (P4) and a sun wheel of a third planetary gear set (P2) with each other. The component is connected with a bar of a fourth planetary gear set (P1). A bar of the latter gear set is connected with a third shaft (3), which is coupled to a housing (G) by a brake (03). An output shaft (2) is connected with the third gear set. The planetary gear sets are designed as negative planetary gear sets.
