PURPOSE: A vacuum cleaner is provided to easily transfer power of a rotating motor to a filter unit when the filter unit is accepted to an external housing. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum cleaner comprises a main body, a filter unit(240), an external housing(210), a rotating motor, and a power transfer unit. The main body has a suction motor which generates suction force. The filter unit filters air moved to the suction motor. The external housing is installed in the main body. The filter unit is selectively accepted to the external housing. The rotating motor rotates the filter unit accepted to the external housing. The power transfer unit transfers power of the rotating motor to the filter unit.
