PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power distribution system capable of improving the efficiency of using power. SOLUTION: An AC power distribution panel 3 is connected to a commercial power supply AC, and is used as a connection port of AC power from the commercial power supply AC. A DC power supply 4 generates DC power. A switching device 6 switches the connection source of a power supply line L1 to which an electric apparatus 1a is connected between an AC power supply main line Lac as a power supply path of AC power from the power distribution panel 3 and a DC power supply main line Ldc as a power supply path of DC power from the DC power supply 4. When the power supply line L1 is connected to the AC power supply main line Lac, the power on the power supply line L1 becomes AC power. At the same time, when the power supply line L1 is connected to the DC power supply main line Ldc, the DC power from the DC power supply 4 is supplied to the power supply line L1 without being converted into AC power, and the power on the power supply line L1 becomes DC power.
