<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aperture device for a projector having excellent durability, in which two aperture members are suitably turned in double door fashion by two electromagnetic actuators which are so arranged that the turning shafts of rotors are parallel to each other. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The aperture member 16 is turnably mounted on shaft members 8, 12 via a unit of matchmaking members 20, 21, and the aperture member 17 is turnably mounted on shaft members 9, 13 via a unit of matchmaking members 18, 19. The electromagnetic actuators AC1, AC2 are mounted on a plate-shaped part 1a, output pins 33b, 25c integrated with the rotor are penetrated through the inner face side of the plate-shaped part 1a and inserted into a long hole formed on the matchmaking members 20, 18 and a long hole formed on the mounting pieces 16e, 17e of the aperture members 16, 17, and the aperture members 16, 17 are turned by the simultaneous turning of the rotors into opposite directions.
