<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for preventing an end guide from slipping out of a specified position by man-made artificial operation error, and preventing the end guide fixed to the specified position from slipping out of the specified position, when fixing is released due to impact. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This paper feeding cassette 1 has: the end guide 5, arranged in a side part so that an elastically deformable snap arm 6 opens a clearance 26 of a predetermined width, slidably arranged inside a guide groove 12 in a state of inwardly deflecting the snap arm 6 and positioning a recording paper end part, by being fixed in a state of outwardly expanding the snap arm 6 by a guide fixing part 13; and a stopper 7, projectingly arranging a deflection checking piece 29 having a thickness of the same degree as that of the width of the clearance 26 and checking inward deflection of the snap arm 6, by being installed on the end guide 5 so as to insert the deflection checking piece 29 into the clearance 26 from the reverse side of the recording paper-placing side.
