PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for rehabilitating a manhole, capable of rehabilitating an existing manhole easily and inexpensively. SOLUTION: To line an inner circumferential surface of sidewalls (1b, 1c) of a manhole 1, a rehabilitating sheet 3 made of a sheet material resistant to water and corrosion is provided in the form of a bag having a shape corresponding to the inner circumferential surface to be lined. The rehabilitating sheet is inserted into the manhole 1 to be lined. Frameworks are assembled from below in order inside the bag of the rehabilitating sheet 3 to support it so as to have the shape corresponding to the inner circumferential surface to be lined. A gap between the rehabilitating sheet 3 and the inner circumferential surface of the sidewalls of the manhole is filled with a filler 13, which is then hardened to line the sidewalls of the manhole. In assembling the framework portion corresponding to the conical trapezoid portion of the inner circumferential surface of the tilting wall portion of the sidewall 1b, a plurality of framework plates are connected together as one set to form circular and flat ring plates 17 of diameters different from each other, and a plurality sets of framework plates are connected one set by one set in order from the maximum diameter to form a ring plate 17 to be stacked together horizontally via spacers 22.
