<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft solid drawing material that can smoothly form a drawing not only on a drawing surface having a smooth surface such as art paper, coated paper or the like but also on a non-absorbent drawing surface such as a resin, glass, a metal sheet or the like and draws a line having high density. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The soft solid drawing material comprises a pigment, wax, a mineral oil, an amorphous poly-α-olefin and rosin wherein the amorphous poly-α-olefin is contained in the range of 0.05-1.0 wt.% and rosin is contained in the range of 2.5-20 wt.%, each based on the total amount of the solid drawing material; and rosin is contained in a range of 10-150 pts.wt. based on 1 pt.wt. amorphous poly-α-olefin.
