<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analyzer capable of opening a lid without using a moving means for moving in a vertical direction, and securing airtightness in a sealed space in which a sample is arranged, even during conveyance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this analyzer equipped with a sample stand for holding an analysis sample, and the lid for covering at least the analysis sample held on the sample stand, a space covered with the lid is sealed, and assuming that a pressure in the sealed space is P1, and a pressure in an adjacent space adjacent to the space and bounded by the lid is P2, a relation: P2<P1 is acquired before analysis start of the analysis sample, and a mass of the lid is determined so that sealing of the space is removed by movement of the lid receiving a force F resulting at least from a pressure difference P1-P2.
