<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for a mushroom cultivation bottle which is suitable for automation of confirmation of sure mushroom growth and screening, and suitably enables labor saving of mushroom cultivation, and to provide a screening device for mushroom. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This carrier for sending widemouthed mushroom cultivation bottles 10 in a line to a horizontal direction using endless turning of a chain 51 or the like includes a carrier part 50 which is driven by a chain and includes a plurality of moving pieces 55 fixed at a necessary interval to a chain track with the chain 51 or the like, corresponding to the diameter of the body part of the mushroom cultivation bottle 10, can clip the body part of each of the mushroom cultivation bottles 10 from both back and front sides in the forward direction and hold to be freely put in and out in the horizontal direction substantially crossing the forward direction at right angles.
