PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can smoothly perform a printing process even with a printing medium without a center hole. SOLUTION: The printer includes a transfer assembly 56 which transfers a printed image formed on an intermediate transfer sheet 42 to the printing surface of the printing medium 100 by pressing, a printing tray 12 on which the printing medium 100 is mounted, and a holding roller 70 which is installed on the slightly downstream side of the transfer assembly 56.
