<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric heater apparatus capable for further enhancing radiation performance while suppressing dimensional expansion in a ventilation direction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The PTC heater apparatus of a thin type in a ventilation direction has a heating unit 30 arranged so that a pair of electrode plates 32, 33 cross at right angles in a ventilation direction, and the electrode plates 32, 33 are provided with louvers 325, 335 rising on radiating parts 324, 334 not pinching a PTC element 31.
