<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure heat dissipating performance of an electronic control unit incorporated in an automatic transmission without increasing the size of the automatic transmission. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Upper and lower faces of an opening in which an AT ECU 42 and an SBW ECU 44 of a unit base 30 are disposed is blocked by metal plates 32, 34 to form a unit chamber. Fins 32a, 32b inclined opposing the flowing direction of AT oil in a strainer 50 are formed at positions corresponding to the unit chamber of the metal plate 32 on the strainer 50 side. The AT oil in the strainer 50 can be introduced into the unit chamber via the fins 32a, 32b, and heat generation of the AT ECU 42 and the SBW ECU 44 can be efficiently released by exchanging heat with the oil.
