<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent strong resonance and engine stop from occurring by performing a resonance prevention treatment at a proper timing while considering the state of the approach of the rotational speed of an internal combustion engine to the resonance rotational speed of a dual mass flywheel in controlling the internal combustion engine. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A reference rotational speed value A and a reference rotational speed variation amount value B are set according to an engine rotational speed deceleration Dne and a shift stage SFT (S112, S114). These values A, B are compared with an average rotational speed Nea and a rotational speed variation amount ΔNe (S116, S118). The state of the adjustment of the reference values A, B is changed by more increasing the reference rotational speed value A and more reducing the reference rotational speed variation amount value B as the engine rotational speed deceleration Dne is higher, and by making these values to correspond to the resonance rotational speed which changes according to the shift stage.
