摘要 The method comprises generating a transmission profile of a transmissive joining partner (2) along a contour of a welding seam to be generated, guiding a processing beam with a laser power in a joining zone for joining process with an absorbent joining partner along the contour, and controlling the joining process in such a way that an increased energy entry takes place in the joining zone in an area of the decreased transmission of the transmissive joining partner. The generation of the transmission profile is carried out through measuring a measuring beam (3, 6). The method comprises generating a transmission profile of a transmissive joining partner (2) along a contour of a welding seam to be generated, guiding a processing beam with a laser power in a joining zone for a following joining process with an absorbent joining partner along the contour, and controlling the joining process in such a way that an increased energy entry takes place in the joining zone in an area of the decreased transmission of the transmissive joining partner. The generation of the transmission profile is carried out through measuring a measuring beam (3, 6) transmitted by the transmissive joining partner by a light detector (5). The wave length of the measuring radiation stands in direct relation to the wavelength of the processing beam. The wave length of the measuring beam and the processing beam is same. The increased energy entry is carried out through increasing a laser power of the processing radiation at constant relative speed between the processing radiation and the joining partner, or through reducing the relative speed between the processing beam and the joining partner at constant laser power of the processing beam. The sequence of the process steps is automatically carried out.
