APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR LETTER INPUT USING KEY PAD AND TOUCH PAD

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for inputting a letter using a key pad and a touch pad are provided to simultaneously use a key pad and a touch pad when inputting text data, thereby simply and easily performing a process of inputting the text data. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(110) is composed of a key pad and a touch pad. A controller(120) combines the first data inputted through the key pad with the second data inputted through the touch pad to generate an input letter. A display unit(130) receives the input letter. The display unit displays the received input letter. The controller displays the first alphabet which is the first data on the display unit.
