<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when a vacuum cleaner is operated by low input (weak operation), since there is little intake capacity compared to the time of high input (strong operation) when there is much intake capacity and strong suction force, the flow rate of air, which flows into a dust collection part, becomes slow, centrifugal force, which acts on dust, declines, and dust separation (scavenging) capability falls off, and on the other hand, when tried to quicken the flow rate of air, which flows into the dust collection part by lessening a passage area and to increase the centrifugal force which acts on the dust, in order to raise dust separation capability at low capacity when the vacuum cleaner is weakly operated, since a passage area is small at the time when the vacuum cleaner is strongly operated, a pressure drop increases, intake power sharply falls off, and the suction force of the vacuum cleaner declines. <P>SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner has a cleaner body which contains a motor fan and the dust collection part which is removably mounted on the cleaner body, the dust collection part has a separation chamber which separates dust from suction air using the centrifugal force, and a valve body which operates according to the intake capacity of the motor fan is installed near the inflow part of the separation chamber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
