<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of recycling an asbestos-containing material, which makes the asbestos-containing material harmless without the necessity of high-temperature heat energy, and thereby, reuses this harmless material as a molded form such as a building material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The asbestos-containing material and an impactor are charged in a reactor and impact energy is generated in the impactor by the rotation of the reactor, etc. The impactor and the asbestos-containing material collide with each other severely, stretching the bond length of asbestos fibrous particles. Consequently, the crystal structure of the asbestos fibrous particle is made amorphous and the asbestos-containing material becomes harmless as a molding raw material.
