PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize technology by which a user recognizes a failure in photography easily. SOLUTION: An imaging means for photographing an object and forming image data, an operation means for receiving a photography command about the object by the imaging means from a user, a display means for displaying the image data photographed by the imaging means, a face detection means for detecting face area of a person contained in the image data photographed by the imaging means before the photography command is operated by the operation means and detecting the face area of a person contained in the image data photographed by the imaging means after the photography command is operated by the operation means, and a control means for comparing the image data before and after the operation of the photography command by the operation means and controlling the display means so that the face area before the operation of photography command is displayed in a recognizable state if there is no face area in the place, where was the face area before the operation of photography command, after the operation of photography command.
