PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To announce information on a given institution with sound in the navigation apparatus searching institutions to display on a map. SOLUTION: The navigation apparatus sets out the announced site on a road (step S60), while getting POI information on POI (step S40). When a vehicle passes through the announced site (step S70), a plurality of POIs is retrieved in response to a position of the vehicle detected at the step S10 (step S80) based on POI information acquired at the step S40.
