<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output device can compare a plurality of map images without moving line of sight. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The system is equipped with an image storage part 11 for storing two or more map images as the images of the maps with which epoch information showing the epoch is associated, respectively; a displayed epoch information receiving part 12 for receiving the displayed epoch information; a degree of transparency setting part 13 for setting the degree of the transparency of the two map images so that much more portions of the map image corresponding to the epoch information closer to the displayed epoch information are displayed than the other map image among the two map images corresponding to the two epoch information temporally advanced or late in the epoch order with respect to the displayed epoch information; and an image output part 14 for outputting the two or more map images stored in the image storage part 11 overlapped with the degree of the transparency set up by the transparency setting part 13.
