PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and the like for shortening a time for manufacturing a building model. SOLUTION: A building model manufacturing device 200 for manufacturing a scale model to be used in a wind tunnel examination for atmospheric environment prediction or the like is provided with a building rectangle approximating part 101 for extracting building contour data being a contour of a building in a designated area and approximating the building contour data to a rectangle, and a model manufacturing part 102 for using the building contour data approximated to the rectangle by the building rectangle approximating part 101 to manufacture a building model.
