<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly allocate an I/O device to a Host, in a server system compatible with MR-IOV (Multi-Root I/O Virtualization). Ž<P>SOLUTION: Information on a configuration of the server system is collected to generate I/O topology information 11, 12. When receiving an allocation request 4 from a user of the server system compatible with MR-IOV, or an external system, I/O path configuration information 13 in which I/O-SWs 23a-d, 32a-d to be used for communication to Blades 22a-22d are defined is generated, and I/O-SW setting information 16 on communication channels of each of the I/O-SWs 23a-d, 32a-d is generated from the I/O path configuration information 13 and set.
