<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the replacement of a camera, etc. by dividing a gimbal mechanism for a space stabilizer into an outer unit and an inner unit while making the inner unit easily attachable to and detachable from the outer unit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This gimbal mechanism for a space stabilizer facilitates the replacement of a camera, etc.: by forming the outer unit (31) out of an outer AZ gimbal (1) and an outer EL gimbal (3); forming the inner unit (32) out of a bracket (11), an inner AZ gimbal (5), and an inner EL gimbal (7); and making the inner unit (32) attachable to and detachable from the outer unit (31).
