<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard meter which can issue a comfortable alarm without issuing a false alarm. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The onboard meter includes a display means 2 for displaying a vehicle state, a notification means 3 for displaying an alarm state in the vehicle state, and a control means 1 for generating a displayed value to be displayed by the display means 2 on the basis of a measured value in accordance with the vehicle state and determining whether or not the vehicle state is the alarm state to control the notification means 3. The control means 1 performs measured value determination processing for determining whether or not the measured value has reached a first predetermined threshold and displayed value determination processing for determining whether or not the generated displayed value has reached a second predetermined threshold. When both conditions of the measured value determination processing and the displayed value determination processing are satisfied, the notification means 3 is controlled to be operated.
