The cabriolet (10) comprises a collapsible folding roof (24), which has a roof segment (30) pivoting around a folding axis (32). A carriage (12) is provided, which has a trunk (14) for receiving the collapsible folding roof. The folding roof has a roof element rotating around a rotation axis aligned inclining to the folding axis. The carriage has a cover pivoting around a pivot axis aligned inclining to the folding axis for opening and closing an opening (36) of a roof pole. An independent claim is included for a method for closing a folding roof of a cabriolet.
