<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve lesion areas of various fibrotic lesions (to reduce or eliminate fiberization), which are conventionally hard to be treated. <P>SOLUTION: Provided is a therapeutic agent or prophylactic agent comprising adipose-derived stem cells (ASC) and at least one factor selected from the group consisting of a fibroblast growth factor (FGF) and a platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF). A production method of a hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) including a step for culturing the adipose-derived stem cells (ASC) in the presence of a fibroblast growth factor (FGF) is provided. Further, an adipose-derived stem cell (ASC) proliferation stimulant containing the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) is provided.
