<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display can highly effectively utilize an enhancement function for supporting presentation , and to provide an image display method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: An image editing section 14 subjects the image input signal input from a signal input section 12 to enhancement processing, magnification processing, and superposition processing of an OSD image. The image editing section 14 stores the image subjected to the enhancement processing in an image data storage section 16. The image stored in the image data storage section 16 is read into the image editing section 14, is converted to an image output signal suitable for the display type in an image generation section 13 and is displayed on a screen 22 through a display processing section 21. The image editing section 14 stores the operation data realizing the image on the operation on the image displayed and subjected to the enhancement processing, the magnification processing and the superposition processing of the OSD image in a presentation data archiving section 17.
