<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner for manufacturing inorganic spherical particles, by which the inorganic spherical particles having a high vitrification rate is manufactured without the possibility of causing back fire, and further the spherical particles having a target particle size distribution is obtained with small variance in the average particle size of raw material powder during the procedure of granulation, and to provide an apparatus for manufacturing inorganic spherical particles. <P>SOLUTION: Raw material powder of coarse particles is fed into a first raw material supply path 1A of a diffusion type burner and raw material powder of fine particles is fed into a second raw material supply path 6A while respectively being carried by carrier gas, and oxygen is bisected to be fed into a first oxygen supply path 5A and a second oxygen supply path 7A. Fuel gas is fed into a fuel supply path 4A. The raw material powder of coarse particles is heated and fused in a region where the dispersion volume is small and the flame temperature is high, and the raw material powder of fine particles is heated and fused in a region where the dispersion volume is large and the flame temperature is low. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
