PURPOSE: A lens inspecting system and a control method thereof are provided to carry out efficient inspection for a plurality of lenses. CONSTITUTION: A stage unit(400) comprises a stage(410), a transport unit, and a rotation apparatus(450). A tray placed on the stage comprises target lenses which are arranged in multiple rows and columns between a measuring unit and a sensor unit. The transport unit carries the stage linearly. The rotation apparatus rotates the stage around an optical axis.
