PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a resolver holder through screwing so that the respective metal members of a nut member and the resolver holder are reliably brought into contact with each other, and thereby prevent loosening of a screw due to a thermal expansion difference, aging of resin, or the like. SOLUTION: A brushless motor includes: a bracket 8 made of die-cast aluminum; a bracket holder 25 of synthetic resin installed on the bracket 8 inside the motor; and the resolver holder 24, fixed on the bracket holder 25 by a resolver fixing screw 28 from outside the motor. In the resolver holder 24, there is housed the stator 23 of a resolver 21. A resolver fixing nut 27 is installed on the bracket holder 25 so that it is prevented from turning rotated, while being moved freely in the axial direction. When a screw 28 is screwed into the nut 27, the nut 27 is abutted against the resolver holder 24, and the screw 28 is fastened and fixed with metal surfaces in contact with each other.
