PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which, when part of image data cannot be processed, extracts and processes image data having attribute information corresponding to the image data that cannot be processed as substitute image data. SOLUTION: A multifunction machine 40 for receiving a multi-page file including two or more pieces of image data inside one data file includes a data processing section for receiving the image data, an extraction portion for, when part of the image data cannot be received, extracting different image data having the attribute information corresponding to the image data that cannot be received, and a control section for making the data processing section receive the different image data extracted in the extraction section as the substitute image data. The control section makes the data processing section receive the different image data having the attribute information corresponding to the image data that cannot be received as the substitute.
