摘要 A software and/or hardware facility for managing the referral of electronic advertisements is described. The facility may be configured to provide advertisements, including coupons, to a referrer and to enable the referrer to forward the advertisements to recipients. The facility also tracks recipient responses to the forwarded advertisements (e.g., redemption of coupons, interactions with the advertisement, rejections of advertisements, etc.). The facility may also be configured to provide incentives and/or disincentives to referrers based on recipient responses to advertisements.
