RAILWAY LINE QUARTER BRINGING UP FOR DISCUSSION TONGUE RAIL ADJUSTING DEVICE AND METHOD

PURPOSE: A tongue rail adjusting device of a railway turnout and a method are provided to reduce the cost and time required for replacing a tongue rail. CONSTITUTION: A tongue rail adjusting device of a railway turnout comprises a basic rail(10), a tongue rail(20), first and second clampers(30,30'), and a hydraulic cylinder(40). Basic rail holders and tongue rail holders are connected with the basic rail and the tongue rail. Handles(33) are formed on the top of the basic rail holders and the tongue rail holders. Screw holes are drilled in the tongue rail holders, and fixing bolts(35) are coupled to the screw holes. A ram is coupled to the front center between the first and second clampers. A stopper is installed in the rear end of the hydraulic cylinder, and a rail supporter(43) is formed in the top end of the hydraulic cylinder.
